Birthday Whimsy

I made these cards this past week using the "Birthday Whimsy" set from Stampin' Up. I've barely used this set since I got it but quickly realized that I really like it, (once I finally sat down and gave it a try - lol). I was trying to come up with some smaller-than-usual cards that were simple but cute - I think I came up with just the thing.

This card measures 4 1/4 X 4 1/4. I used my Cuttlebug/Swiss Dots as well as my SU scallop border punch - the sentiment came with the set. All the CS and ink is also from SU.

This card is also 4 1/4 X 4 1/4. The CS and ink are all from SU as is the photo corner punch and word window punch I used. The sentiment is from Stamping Bella and the DP is from Michael's - they had a HUGE sale a while back and I bought TONS, (lol).

Leaning Tower Of Stella

This is the last in a series of Stella cards I made a few weeks back. Once again, this image and sentiment are from Stamping Bella, this particular image is called "The Leaning Tower of Stella". I CASED the card from Lynn at The Queen's Scene because I just LOVE her artwork - she is so creative!!

I hope you like it and I promise to be back soon, with something other than a Stella (lol).

Stella Has Something To Say

I know it's been awhile since I posted - there just never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done that needs doing. For starters, my darling daughter celebrated her 1st birthday this past Saturday. We had a delightful BBQ and enjoyed celebrating with friends and family alike. Then, as a birthday surprise for us, Kiah started walking - consequently, she hasn't slowed down since (lol)!! To top it all off, I am headed back to work tomorrow so who knows how much "crafty time" I'll be getting in the future. That being said, I am going to try and continue posting as often as I can so please don't get discouraged with me - I will be back with more as soon as I settle into my new schedule.

This card was made awhile ago but I never got around to posting it, (lol). It uses yet another of my Stella images, "Stella Has Something To Say" from Stamping Bella. I finally treated myself to some new craft supplies awhile back and ordered a bunch of these because I thought they were so cute. The CS is all from SU and I coloured Stella using my SU markers, (one of these days I really am going to learn how to use my Copics). The DP and crystals are from Michael's. I wasn't completely thrilled with this card but I didn't completely hate it either - it just didn't seem quite right, (lol).
