Stella Has Something To Say

I know it's been awhile since I posted - there just never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done that needs doing. For starters, my darling daughter celebrated her 1st birthday this past Saturday. We had a delightful BBQ and enjoyed celebrating with friends and family alike. Then, as a birthday surprise for us, Kiah started walking - consequently, she hasn't slowed down since (lol)!! To top it all off, I am headed back to work tomorrow so who knows how much "crafty time" I'll be getting in the future. That being said, I am going to try and continue posting as often as I can so please don't get discouraged with me - I will be back with more as soon as I settle into my new schedule.

This card was made awhile ago but I never got around to posting it, (lol). It uses yet another of my Stella images, "Stella Has Something To Say" from Stamping Bella. I finally treated myself to some new craft supplies awhile back and ordered a bunch of these because I thought they were so cute. The CS is all from SU and I coloured Stella using my SU markers, (one of these days I really am going to learn how to use my Copics). The DP and crystals are from Michael's. I wasn't completely thrilled with this card but I didn't completely hate it either - it just didn't seem quite right, (lol).

Yet Another Stella

Sorry for the long wait between posts, unfortunately, I think that it's going to be happening more often than not, (lol). Kiah's 1st birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and then its back to work for me. Please keep checking in though, I will update it as often as I can.

This card uses yet another Stella image, "Stella With An Olive On Top" and sentiment, from Stamping Bella. I colored my image using my SU markers, all the CS is from SU, I found the DP when I was on vacation in Maine and I bought the crystals on sale at Michaels' about 2 years ago, (it was such a good deal, that I literally bought hundreds of them - lol).

Stella With An Olive On Top

This is another Stella image from Stamping Bella, "Stella With An Olive On Top". Once again, I CASED this card from the Lynn at The Queen's Scence - I thought it was too cute and adorable to pass by (lol). Actually, all of Lynn's creations are amazing and I highly suggest you check them out if you haven't done so already.

All the cardstock is from SU, Stella was coloured using my SU markers, (one of these days I will learn how to use my Copics), the DP and gemstone brads are from the Dollarama and I punched out the sentiment (also from Stamping Bella) and coordinating layer using two of my SU circle punches. Enjoy!

Another Stella

This is another Stella image, "Daisy With A Stella On Top", from Stamping Bella. These images are too cute and so easy to color, the matching Stamping Bella sentiments are adorable and I am sure I will be buying more of these in the near future (lol)!

This card was also inspired by the amazing Lynn at The Queen's Scene, although I didn't directly CASE this card like the previous post. The card itself is pretty simple: Stella is coloured with my SU markers, the pearl baubles and sentiment are also from Stamping Bella and the DP was a fabulous find at Big Al's in Maine when we were down there visiting Grammy 2 weeks ago.

Introducing. . .Stella

So technically, these images aren't a new item but hey, they're new to me (lol). They are from Stamping Bella and this particular image is called "Stella Has Something To Say". I fell in love with Stella months ago when I saw her on a friend's blog, Lynn from The Queen's Scene. Naturally, I just had to run out and buy a bunch of my own, (lol)! Incidentally, I also CASED this card from Lynn as I was trying to get my creativity flowing again.

Lots of layers, my SU markers, some organza ribbon from who-knows-where, a paper flower from the Dollarama and a wonderful sentiment from Stamping Bella finished this card off. Hope you all like it.
