First, I must apologize for my long absence. Things have been absolutely crazy around here with all the home renovations & preparing for the baby (only 6 more weeks to go - aghhh)!! That being said, my doctor put me off work this week so I suddenly have plenty of free time on my hands. It is my hope to spend a lot of it in my craftroom as I am unsure how much time I'll get in there once this little one makes its appearance.
I made this card for the Friday Sketch Challenge #4 on the
Friday Sketchers blog. I have meticulously been copying down their sketch challenges every week but this is the first opportunity I've gotten to make a card and submit it for the challenge - lol! I used a
High Hopes Stamp that I borrowed from my friend Denise and colored him using my SU markers, (which I am still so in love with). I also dug out my cuttlebug which has been feeling quite neglected these days. I was pretty happy with the end result and thought it would make a great birthday card for a guy, (I generally have a tough time coming up with masculine card ideas so that realization was pretty exciting this morning). As you may have noticed, it doesn't take much to amuse me these days - lol!!
